Meditation for Happy Families

Meditation for Happy Families

Imagine living in a household full of laughing, where Dopamine outweighed Cortisol. Imagine a household where judgement was not a daily occurrence and gratitude was expressed. Imagine a household that did not belittle, and instead accepted flaws and appreciated the whole person. Imagine a household that chose to meditate instead of self-medicate. Imagine a household that chose love over anger and fun over fighting. Imagine a high vibrational household over a low vibrational household. Just imagine. We can imagine or we can all meditate to nurture our nervous system.

The need to improve the quality of human relationships is deeply felt in every country in the world. Within families, within larger communities, the need is there. The basis of social disharmony is the inability of people to satisfy their needs and expectations. This may be due to loss of energy, or lack of intelligence, an inability to make the best use of situations in which they find themselves or by focusing on lack instead of being grateful for what they have.

It is necessary for people to develop and strengthen their individual minds. A system of deep meditation does well to achieve this and the whole physiology of a person is improved. Mental health depends upon the strength of the mind and a strong mind coordinate with the nervous system to enable it to function normally. The normal functioning of the nervous system results in physical good health as well, and thereby the body can carry out the directives of the mind and fulfil its desires.

During Vedic meditation the quieting of the body naturally allows an unusual degree of rest to release tension. All the suffering that could be described as psychosomatic is relieved at its source by deep meditation. Vedic or Transcendental Meditation can provide:

  1. Improved sleep
  2. Increased energy levels
  3. Relief from stress-related health disorders - anxiety, depression, fatigue, digestive, reproductive and immune conditions
  4. Increased mental clarity, intelligence, memory, and creativity
  5. Increased resilience and adaptability
  6. Increased sense of calm and presence
  7. Reduced emotional reactivity
  8. Increased sense of fulfillment and contentment
  9. Increased levels of spontaneous happiness and joy
  10. Improved relationships & connection
